Subject: Mounting option for spare tubes and tools.

I was messing around with options for carrying a spare tubes and tools, plus enough nutrition for a HIM. I have a Dark Speed bento which will be sufficient for my nutrition, but I think it's too packed with the addition of a tube, lever, cartidge, and fill adaptor.

I took an old water bottle bracket off my mnt bike, cut the spine off and married to an XLab bag. Basically I just bore a few holes with a nail set, fed the bolts though the back side of the bag, and secured it to a rear mount saddle hydration setup.

Thus far, I'm happy with the bag's placement, but I do plan secure it a little better. A bonus is that I can now carry two spare tube set-ups. I think I may use the extra bottle holder and ziptie it between the aero bars. This will give me the option of carrying a third water bottle; I know it'll add a little weight to the bike on race day, but it'll be consumed.

Hope you like it.

My repair/flat kit is all in a bottle mounted behind my saddle via a single minoura bottle mount.
