Running in Tahlequah, OK

In July, I will be a sponsor for the youth group at our church as they go on a mission trip to Tahlequah, OK.  I am also training for IMAZ in November.  I know I'll miss my swim and bike training the week of the mission trip, but will get up early several mornings to get some runs in.  

We will be staying at the Circle of Care Methodist Children's Home.  It looks like it is close to a university as well.  Does anyone know if it is safe to run in that area?  Are the roads busy?  Any shoulders or sidewalks?

We are coming up on a charter bus, so I have no transportation of my own.
