Subject: Sketchers Shape-ups for Achilles Tendonitis

I have been troubled with Achilles Tendonitis off and on for years.  At the bottom of my closet are a pair of Sketchers Shape-ups.  Becuase of the way the sole is rounded they do prevent heel strikes.  Anyone have any idea if wearing them would impact the sore achilles good, bad or indifferent?

They would be bad for Achilles Tendinitis.  The goal of that super soft part is to have your heel sink further down (think walking in sand); this will place additional strain on your AT.

Yeah I found that out today.  Tried to wear them for a while and, not so good.  I guess just time and a lot of streching.  Thanks.
