Will swim this afternoon.   Time to do some 50's and 100's.    Then work on the kayak a bit.  It's rigged with running lights and sonar now.   Just have to install a couple of switches.   Then it's off to the river for an evening paddle.

Little mini-brick this morning; rode 40 minutes and ran 10 minutes. Legs didn't feel all that funny - probably because I didn't bike long enough!

Wow we lucked out with the weather, was t-storming like crazy all night and was supposed to continue through the morning, but it turned out to be clear and high 60's-low 70's. Which meant heading to Camp Ockanickon (who names these places?) for OWS practice. Did a mile nonstop, then a quick change and 35 miles on the bike. Philly Tri here I come!

Race simulation starting at 5am with planned breakfast, drove out to the pond (I know - it's not truly a simulation) for a 2 mile swim (and my wetsuit ate my neck....must get some body glide), back home for a 32 mile ride followed with a 5 mile run. The good news is, I made it. The bad news is the 50 mile bike ride I was supposed to ride tomorrow will probably be cancelled because we are supposed to get almost 5 inches of rain in 24 hours. So down to the basement I go!

Have a great weekend all and good luck to all those racing!

Been a really dark and difficult time the last couple weeks ... very grateful to be up and moving again.

16 minute run with poochlet Phoebe and 16 minutes MTB on the trainer.

Went for a little tour on the old bike with the wife, when we got back I figured I might as well make a brick out of it, so I took off for an 8 k  run but cut it at 6.5 k  because the ankle I rolled last week said enough right at the top of a big hill about 2 blocks from home , so I just walked it back the rest of the way.

Easy 13km Run this AM. Well, I thought it felt easy, until I realized I closed the last 6km in 24min. I can't wait to race. I'll put an hour in on the rollers L8R.

Fun day! Started the morning with an x-country 5k race. Slipping and sliding a little in the wet forest, but it was my first OA win, like ever. So no complaints. Then watched the Pre Classic on TV, cheering energetically for my man Mo Farah. My daughter was impressed when I showed her a picture of him with my little bro last week at the London 10k. Then 27 miles on the trainer while watching a nice British murder mystery. Finishing the day reading outside with the family, enjoying the unseasonably pleasant evening. Good day all around.

That is awesome James!  Congratulations!  As for me I went for a ~46 mile bike ride today.  Wanted to go swimming in the afternoon but I ran out of time and I would be swimming with a full tummy so I'm gonna swim tomorrow instead.  =)

Hang in there, Yanti. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel....it's just that some tunnels seem longer than others!

90-minute run here with lots of tempo stuff. Suffering in humidity. My shoes were barely dry from the last workout, and they were wet and squishy again by 60 minutes. No, not from rain--I wish it would, and cool things off! PM 3200m swim. Pool felt very good. Did lots of sprint stuff just for the h... of it, 'cause I'm sick of long repeats!
