Garmin 910xt shutting down on bike

I've heard it happening to other people but I've never had the problem until today.  It shut down about 5 times.  Everytime I would stop turn it back on and then it would do it again.  I noticed everytime before it shut down it would start auto pausing on me.  The last time time I turned off the auto pause and rode about another 8 mi with no problems.  I'm hoping this is the fix.  I would love to use auto pause with all of the starting and stopping I have to do but I can live without it if this corrects the problem.  I thought I would throw my experience out there for anybody else having this problem.
