Cancelled / Rescheduled Race?

WTH?!?! I just heard that they are cancelling my race that is in 12 days. My wife heard the rumor and asked the race director when he was going to let people know because people actually train for these things and some will have started to taper. He said he doesn't know when they are going to reschedule it for, so hasn't told people yet because of that.

Complete BS, I'm waiting for the call or official notification, then I'll complain.
