Pre-race routine:

Got up at T-1:30, ate a blueberry muffin and had a glass of water. Showed up at race T-0:45, started warmup T-0:20.
Event warmup:

Ran about 1/4 of a mile and then stretched.

Comments:

Did not trust my faster pace so I ended up holding back until after the 2 mile marker.
What would you do differently?:

Trust my training and go for it. That being said this was a "training" race.

Warm down:

Sat down and had a banana, 2 cookies and a bottle of water.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

No taper, no real race preparation.
