Subject: My proudest finish
This Sunday will be my proudest finish in a tri. It's just a sprint, but I feel I will accomplish more when I cross the line than where I place. I gave up tri in Jan. because of life circumstances and going back to finish my doctorate. I was miserable for 4 months and decided that despite my full time job, 2 part time jobs, raising my son and working on my doctorate, I had to find the time to train again. I have worked really hard these past 3 months and have gotten my base back. To finsih this one in lieu of everything else going on in life will be awesome.

I guess for some of us, it's more about crossing the line then being on the podium.

Good for YOU!  You are living proof of the idea that if you want something, you make it happen instead of making excuses for why it can't happen.

You have every right to be proud!
