Spokane Spring Triathlon - anyone heard of it?

I would never race an event put on by World Endurance Sports. The race director has a really bad reputation for taking peoples money but failing to put on a safe and organized race. It is sad really. So many people are suckered into paying nearly $80 for a poorly run, and even dangerous event when they could spend almost half that on a well organized, USAT sanctioned event.

I have heard so many horrible stories about races put on by this guy.

Wow oh wow! Am I ever glad I asked! I knew he'd been banned from Moses Lake and the Sandman tri, but I didn't realize this one was the same outfit. Thanks for the info and the links! Looks like this weekend will be some OWS and a brick on my own.
