This past race weekend..

So I put up a post last week about having a 5k on Saturday and a intermidiate tri on Sunday.  I decided to go hard on the 5k and try and beat all my family.  I remember someone posting to me saying blood is thicker than gatorade.  I took that philosophy to heart.

Mission accomplished.  I ended up beating all of them.  My one sister's bf I ended up passing 100 yards right before the finish.  One second difference was all it was but a win is a win.

Then I podium'd in my tri on Sunday.  First in my AG and 6th place overall in the whole AG division!  There was a pro/elite division and I believe I beat 2-3 of them as well. 

Overall a very great and inspiring weekend!
