Subject: Hi! Hi everyone, I have been lurking here for a few months and decided that its finally time to introduce myself. Im Margot, and I have signed up for my first sprint tri in October in San Diego. I used to be really athletic, being a rower in high school and my first year of college. I quit crew and spent the last three years of college gaining weight and not working out at all. Now that I have graduated and moved back to the west coast from Ithaca NY I decided that its time for a change. I will be starting grad school in LA in August and I have about 70 pounds that I need to lose. Im hoping that through training and weight watchers I can get back to being healthy and strong again. I dont have a bike yet so I have been alternating swimming and running and I love how great I feel everyday. I just wanted to say thank you for this website, its an amazing source of inspiration and the training logs are great! |
