Pat Porter died in a small plane crash.  Don't remember him running in the Olympics, but I remember the name from World Cross Country meets.

Wow, that's unfortunate. The Sedona airport is beautiful, and small. I imagine it was a horrific scene to watch from the 1 room "terminal".
