Is swimming allowed in Rose Canyon Lake up on Mt Lemmon? I used to fish up there when I lived in Tucson. Small, but would be a beautiful lake to swim in.

I think you can.  But I wouldn't.  I've fished up there several times and there's got to be a million hooks in the water.  But it is really nice up there.

I was gonna' suggest Alvernon, after a good storm.  Just watch out for cars.

 

but I guess the answer is 'no'.  there is no place in Tucson.
