I would really love to Usain Bolt bring home the gold, but it will be tough. I also really hope to see a new WR in the 100 or 200. Can't wait for the decathlon either. Women's marathon is Sunday -- men's is the following Sunday! |

The first T&F medals of these Games have been awarded! Tirunesh Dibaba - just wow. Her last lap was incredible. And I was also loving the two British ladies, both seasoned campaigners, who between them knocked almost a minute of their previous best times, and finishing as the first non-Africans. ... Actually, now I see that 10 of the first 14 finishers, including all 3 Americans, set lifetime bests. Good stuff. |
