We have many club members living and training in Youngsville. We have loosely organized group rides in the area and at least two organized group swims in Sugar Mill Pond before the race. |

I ride three times a week on Chemin Metairie next to Rouses. I rode the bike route yesterday that last years race followed. If you ever want someone to train with just let me know. |

I ride three times a week on Chemin Metairie next to Rouses. I rode the bike route yesterday that last years race followed. If you ever want someone to train with just let me know. Yeah, that sounds pretty good. I rode the route too and grew up right at the turn around so it's fairly familiar to me. Just as pothole filled and crappy filling as I remembered. I ride on my (rare) off days right from Rouses. Just hit me up next time! |

Chemin Metairie is brand new and LA89 is in good shape. Only rough part I remember is by the little bridge near the turnaround. Otherwise Sugarman has one of the best bike courses in the state. For comparison, go ride the CajunMan route. |
