Anyone else up watching?  Have my cup of coffee and tuned in.  Out on the bike as soon as it's over.

I'm here! I've watched every single minute of Olympics coverage available to me, which has pretty much been (my time) from 3pm straight through to 6am every day. Awesome!

Fun little mental game to think about how long you could keep up with these guys running at 3:00/km or 5:00/mile.

I could keep up with them for 100m if I sprinted all-out ... maybe 200m if I had a child, and was sprinting toward her to protect her from imminent mayhem.

Leader did two miles at a 4:30 pace to break away...unbelievable.

apologies...although if I didn't want to know about an event because I was watching it later, I'd avoid clicking on a thread with the event as the title on the day of said event.

Aaaaah edit the above please ... not supposed to give anything away unless you specifically put SPOILER in the title (for those viewing later). Thanks.

Oooh! Glued to the TV, gettin' my Kenyan fix! Think the Ugandan guy is about to get lost in his singlet!  Unless they die a collective death in the last 10 km, the finish time is going to be FAST.

It's gonna be a RACE! Sneaky move, the Ugandan Kiprotich.....He looks relaxed, but anything can happen in the last miles of a marathon!
