Subject: Open water swim - Madison
Where are good locations for open water swimming. Last year I swam in Kegonsa, but it was shallow and weedy and I would like to swim in better locations- I live close to Lake K, so thats why I swam there.

Any ideas?

BadgerIronMan (Mike) has set up a casual google group of Madison swimmers: Mad-Town Swimmers (clever name, eh?) people have all kinds of recommendations, I swim at Wingra, but I will soon be swimming at the Quarry in Verona when I can. PM Mike and he can probably get you on the list

I thought about the quarry, but do you have to pay? - I assume this is firemans park
