Subject: RE: Is There Not Enough Time? Well, it's good you have the swimming down, that's the one that I worry about with a new person enteriing the sport. I think you'll be just fine, try to pace yourself though and don't go out with a certain split/pace in mind, just go and enjoy it. It wouldn't hurt to practice transitions in your back yard first, that will take some of the chaos away on race day, knowing you have a "plan" of execution. It's good your in shape but you must respect the three diciplines, it's a different bag when you have to go from one to the other in a race... takes time to certainly to go from biking to running, your legs will feel strange to say the least.
