Currently I have a tattoo of a Mondrian painting (Composition in Yellow, red and blue) it's about  1 1/2 inches square on the small of my back just above the panty line. Would possibly like another art thumbnail, but also thinking of getting a quote written in a nice font across the rest of the small of my back. Ahhhh... But what to say?....

Mondrian

So, it on the small of your back, right above the panty line...I think the line from Wedding Crashers sums it up, "Tattoo on the lower back? Might as well be a bullseye. "

run4yrlif - 2006-06-13 9:10 AM A couple of years before my dog died, when she was getting older and I knew she wouldn't be around a whole lot longer, I took a stamp pad and made her paw print. I took her print with me on our anniversary trip to NYC and had it done on my left calf. Now, even though she's gone, I'll always have part of her with me.

I remember you told me this when my dog was dying last year, and even though I am anti-tattoo (only for myself personally), I actually considered it because I think it is so sweet.  Just couldn't do it though, so I ended up having to settle for his ashes on my bookshelf.

I have the phrase "One must choose what to do with the time he was given" written on my left arm in a font called Tangwar. Nobody knows what it says except me. I did it that way to provoke a response from people. It makes them think. I think Tolkien made up the font I'm not sure, I just liked the way it looked.

i have a kitty cat on my pelvis, (two of my girlfriends and i got these in college... woo hoo! tattoo excursions rock!) a heart on my rib cage below my left boob, and pandas rolling over a branch of stars on the small of my back... that one is my largest.

this thread is totally making me want to get another, but the next one would be huge and i still haven't found the right artwork for it. i may get a tri tattoo after i complete one. we'll see.

I have one on my right shoulder blade with oriental lettering that means "Eternal Faith in God."  (And yes, I'm sure that is what it says...I designed it myself.)

i have a rose with two buds (my two sons) and a thorn (my husband).

He sees the thorn as the rose's protector and not the so cliched "thorn in my side" but he can be sometimes.......
