Subject: Heat's affect on shoes
??It gets pretty hot in the summer time here in N. Cal. I often leave my running shoes and stuff in the trunk of my car to run at work or afterwards. Will the high heat in the truck have an adverse affect on my running shoes? Shorten their lifespan?

I have had the shoe glue come apart on shoes before sitting in a dry, hot car in Tucson.  At that point there is pretty much nothing you can do but toss them out IMO.  Best just to try and not leave them in the car for extended long periods of time but I don't think the occasional hot day is anything to worry about.

I leave them in my car Sunday through Wednesday with no adverse effects. But I only keep them for a few month then they wear out. I live in S Florida
