Subject: Clothing tips for racing in "cold" weather

I realize "cold" is relative, but I'm from Texas and the forecast for the race tomorrow is mid to high 40s. The coolest it's been during any of my races is low 70s.

Any advice for racing in cold weather, specifically the bike portion? My plan for now is a jacket and gloves...yes, I realize some of you will think I need to HTFU, so that feedback is welcome. ;-)
