Good morning BT, Friday has arrived!

5:15am:  Insanity Pure Cardio
5:45am:  Insanity Cardio Abs

I guess you could say I had an insane morning workout!  It was great!

Heading to a cross country meet today so a half workday for me!  My fastest runner hit 17:16 last Friday....I am soooooo hoping he breaks 17 today, I have a few others hoping to run sub 18 and sub 20.  It's a fast course today so we'll see!

Have a great day!

Morning, I woke up with a huge headache this morning. According to the half marathon plan today is an off day so I am going to try and jump on the bike this evening (if my head feels better) and do an easy 12-15 mile ride. I ran my 7 mile intervals run yesterday evening, 2mi slow, 1 mi fast, 2 min. slow, 1mi fast, 2 min. slow, 1 mi fast, 2 min. slow, 1 mi fast, 1 mi slow. I cut the last mile a little short because my knees hurt so bad I could hardly walk. I'm not sure what to do about the knee pain. Should I just stop for a while? I'm supposed to do 5 mi. tomorrow and 10 sunday. I am taking advil everyday and at night and the glucosamine/chondroitin every day. I'm also incorporating stretching before AND after each run/bike. I guess I will see how the run goes on saturday and then go from there. I may need to just focus on swim for a while.

Did 2100 yards at the pool this morning. Might hop on the trainer while the kid is napping this afternoon. Have a 5k in this morning tomorrow that I am hoping to go 19:10 or under. Happy training peeps!

Had fresh legs and perfect conditions, so I went for the PR on my 6-mile run route.  It's been 18 months since I set that pr, so I forgot what it was.  Anyway, I eased up over the last 1.5 miles, and I just checked and found that I missed the PR by a lousy 2 seconds.  Anyway, great run, I can't complain.  Felt awesome.

6 mile run solo today. My running partner just got word from the doctor that she has plantar fasciitis and a heel spur. Not good. I rarely run more than 4 miles alone, but I did alright today. This weekend I've got a 9 mile run scheduled. Not sure how that will go without someone to take my mind off the run. Luckily it is beautiful in Vermont this time of year (well, any time of year except late March and end of November, in my opinion!) so maybe the leaves will distract me enough.

Bon weekend everyone!
