Subject: RE: 10.12.12 Happy Friday! Morning, I woke up with a huge headache this morning. According to the half marathon plan today is an off day so I am going to try and jump on the bike this evening (if my head feels better ) and do an easy 12-15 mile ride. I ran my 7 mile intervals run yesterday evening, 2mi slow, 1 mi fast, 2 min. slow, 1mi fast, 2 min. slow, 1 mi fast, 2 min. slow, 1 mi fast, 1 mi slow. I cut the last mile a little short because my knees hurt so bad I could hardly walk. I'm not sure what to do about the knee pain. Should I just stop for a while? I'm supposed to do 5 mi. tomorrow and 10 sunday. I am taking advil everyday and at night and the glucosamine/chondroitin every day. I'm also incorporating stretching before AND after each run/bike. I guess I will see how the run goes on saturday and then go from there. I may need to just focus on swim for a while. |
