Garmin FR305 - multiple speed/cadence sensors?

Looking for some advice on pairing multiple GSC 10's.  I currently have 1 and want to buy another to put on my new road bike.  I looked around a while on the internet and found some people saying you have to re-pair each time you go from one sensor to the other; i.e. tri bike to road bike.

However, the 305 has a menu (settings -> biking -> bike profile) where you can save settings for multiple bikes, including the presence of a check-box for "sensor mounted."

Am I crazy to think that this would store both GSC 10's under their respective bike profiles, and all I have to do is switch bikes in the Garmin menu before heading out?
