Welp, I was finally old enough to run for Prez this year, but I was busy overseas with another kind of dictator.

Let's go for it in '16. Whoever gets enough sigs first for a nom goes for Prez and the other will get named Veep candidate. You in?

Also, I'm betting the (incredibly corrupt and inefficient, yes I have proof of this regarding two small parts, so maybe I can't say the WHOLE committee is that way ALL the time) Olympic Committee chooses Istanbul for '20, and by then my spinning plates of citizenship should have settled and I can probably worm my way into some event as a developing-nation wild card type entry.

What I really want is your signature to put me on the ballot in Nebraska (provided you're still there in 2015 or so). Honestly, I'm not sure how many I need just to get on the ballot there (a few thousand probably), so that's one down! Excellent!

I was talking to my mom about the election this morning. Her opinion was that before Christie becomes electable he needs a good tailor and Slimfast. I thought that was funny as hell.

But he may have been the most astute politician in recent history.

You know, this could be an opening for a third party candidate if those two were the other choices.  lol

Word around my part of town is that Governor Martin O'Malley (Owe Malley as many call him) might be throwing his hat into the dance for the Democrats in 2016.

I like Christie, but I don't see a big dude like that holding up well under a stressful campaign.  He looks like he is one good jelly donut away from a double bypass.

Conventional wisdom would have the GOP nominate a Pro-Choice candidate from a solid blue state?  I don't think so.

Unless...unless the GOP can get itself "un-hijacked" by the Religious Right.  Conservative social policies helped sink the GOP in '12, and the electorate is not getting more socially conservative in '16 and '20.  If the GOP is smart, it will go back to its roots as a socially libertarian, fiscally conservative party.  If they trot out the same GOP stances on issues in '16 as they did in '12, (barring economic calamity) they will lose again. 

...and one more thing, the first party member to utter the word "rape" gets smacked in his junk.
