Subject: Deuceman Tri or Mountain Man HIM?
Hi all!
I think I finally decided to sign up for Leadman...but not doing SOMA this year. Now trying to decide whether to do Mountain Man HIM or DeuceMan...both fit in well with my schedule but not sure my bank account can handle both races :-)! Any opinions on the differences between races. I've trained along Lake Mary road multiple times but never trained up in Show Low. We have places to stay in both locations so just wondering about the race itself. Thanks so much!
I've trained at altitude as well (Breckenridge, CO and Flagstaff), so I know that is a factor, and plan on making multiple trips up to Flagstaff to train this summer.
Any suggestions, opinions or reviews on the races? Thanks!

I don't recall the difference in bike elevations, but the big difference to me is the running surface. The Mtn Man is mostly road with a little dirt trail at the top of the hill, the DeuceMan starts on a path but goes out on this rocky road.

I am looking at the Deuceman Tri half. The water temp. seems to be way to cold for June? Is that correct on their site? I am going to register either way but I have swam in cold water like that before and it's not fun.

Registered for Leadman half too.
