My pops still rides his motobecane that he bought in '75. He has kept it in great shape all these years, and still looks and rides like brand new bike.

I just got mine a couple weeks ago. It is actually a Fuji Aloha 1.0, the folks I bought it from gave me the 411 on it. If you look at Bikesdirect.com, they have them for $995, tax, tag and title included.

It rides very good, gears are great on it, dura ace and ultegra componets. And Xero wheels are a plus!

I have had my Grand Record for almost a year now. I spent a good time out of action after having back surgery but I have been super happy with my Motobecane.

The Grand Record doesnt have the top Shimano components but not bottom either.

Cant think of anything bad to say.

Let us know what you think about it. I am still tweaking with mine. I plan a 30 or 40 miler on it this weekend, see how it rides.

I have a Fuji Aloha and was also informed by a guy that had a Motobecane Nemesis that Motobecane took the frame design straight from Fuji. I actually bought my bike technically from Bikes Direct (cycle spectrum). They are a good shop, they are local here in AZ, although I have forgone my free tuneups to get service done by the local Tri shop. (free tune ups = slower service)

Anyway... I really like my Fuji.

I HAVE BOTH A LECHAMPION TEAM DURA-ACE AND A NEMESIS TRI-BIKE LOVE THEM BOTH! BE PREPARED TO CATCH GRIEF FROM LBS. HAD A BAD BOTTOM BRACKET THAT WAS DAMAGED DURING ASSEMBLY FROM WHEREVER BUT ONCE THAT PROBLEM WAS FIXED NO PROBLEMS DURING SEVERAL THOUSAND MILES.
