I live in the US and was trying to get info on where to buy new Lake Cycling Shoes.  Of all of my research they are the only company that makes a wide triathlon shoe.  I have a wide foot.  Shoes that run wide don't work, I need a true wide shoe.  I have tried contacting them directly but no luck.

nickpoz---I'm glad you started this thread brother, as I need new wide tri shoes also.  I wear size 11 4E in Asics Nimbus running shoes.

Sidi makes wide cycling shoes as well.  Bike Nashbar has Lake Brand.  You also might check some of the Cycling sites in the UK they carry them as well.

Checkout RealCyclist.com.  They have wide Sidi's, but they are pretty expensive.  Almost $289.00.

I have some of the Sidi Megas and love them.  I was looking for a Tri shoe though.  Bike Nashbar doesnt have any wide sizes and they cannot order them they said.

If your feet were any wider, you would be disqualified for having swim fins. ;o)

I'm in the same boat.  I wear size 10 2E runners, and my Sidi Expert Tri carbon size 10s make my outside toes numb because they're too narrow.  I've been trying to find wide Lake's for awhile without any luck.

Good news.  I FINALLY made contact with them via facebook.  A company Stage Race is their US distributor and they deal direct.

Hey Nick, thanks for your interest. It is possible to order the shoes direct from Stage Race. Feel free to email us for particulars. [email protected]

Note that Lake shoes are not just wide, they are "tall." They use a "high volume last" (i.e. a fat foot) to design the shoes around. This is great if you want to put in orthotics, but the fit is quite different from other brands (RealCyclist stocks them and has a great return policy).Places to find them:Nashbar.comRealcyclist.comebay.comIf you have the $$$$ (and I do mean $$$$) check out Sidi Megas.

Real Cyclist didnt have any wide sizes.  I have a pair of Sidi Megas road shoes but they dont make a tri shoe and have no plans to.

Lake will return shoes if you dont wear them.  I was unsure of my size and they said I could order a couple pair to figure it out.
