For obvious reasons I am unable to better my biking outside and have found Spinervals.  I ordered a couple of them with some gift cards from the fam over X-mas.  I have been getting a good workout from them.  HOLY BUCKETS !  Sweat and I and killing my wifes yoga mat!!!  However, I’ve read so many posts about SUFFERFEST, that I thought I would check it out.  I got the online three program package and have done two so far. Again, I got a great workout but it made me think........ Is there a benefit or downfall for either of them.  Again, since I’m only starting a second season I have no clue.  So I pose the question to you guys/gals who ride here in Mn and have to do some indoor stuff.

Do you see a downfall with either of them? (I already know the positives)  Anything I should be wary of when using them?  I’m thinking about buying all of the SUFFERFEST videos and a few more Spinervals but I just kinda want to scratch the brains of others before I spend the loot.

I have spinervals, and I also have The Rides videos--which I prefer, if I'm going to do a workout video. Never done sufferfest, tho.

I am a huge fan of Sufferfest videos! It is a struggle to get motivated in the winter, but find Sufferfest videos make me want to ride more than spinnervals.

I bought the Sufferfest bundle (all videos) and used them with trainerroad.com workouts that are made for Sufferfest videos. The workouts are scaled to your FTP if you're using powermeter. It's a great workout.
