I left the Catholic Church 20 years ago.  I just couldn't, for the life of me, continue being a part of any religion that covered up the nearly systematic abuse of children at the hands of Priests and other Church officials.

Still, time has passed.  I admit there have been times when I wonder if I should head back to the Church to see if there is anything I can grab hold of from my youth.

I see you nearly every 4th commercial during the college bowl games exhorting people like me to "come home".  At least that's what it says at the bottom of the screen.

I might consider it based on your words because I respect you.  You seem like a good spokesman for the Church.  A good man.  If only................

I could figure out what they hell you are saying!!!!!!  Laughing

I imagine even God is broke up laughing.

I watch College Gameday pretty regularly during the season and I record College Football Final every night and watch it on Sunday mornings.  A couple of years ago while watching College Gameday I saw a sign in the background, as they always do, that said:

"Lou Holtz spits when he talks"

It made me laugh so hard at the time and for whatever reason, anytime I see him, which is every Sunday morning during the season, that sign flashes in front of my eyes.

If you haven't seen the Rick and Bubba radio show videos of their Lou Holtz impersonator on YouTube do yourself a favor and check it out.  Sidesplitting sometimes.

I just watched one where he was giving a motivational speech to the Crimson Tide....he said, among other things, "Men, this is the time of year when the Alabama faithful drive their homes into Tuscaloosa".  LMAOOOOO

I had to turn it off. Laughing
