Do you know what's not super about today? 12 miles on the treadmill, that's what. Winds are howling, snow/sleet is blowing, this girl is staying inside! No swim either-the road out to Blue Lake is probably covered in drifts. Dear Spring, come soon!

Have a great workout!

Good Morning,

I may try a short run outside, but it hardly seems like getting dressed to go out in -10 C weather to run for only 20 minutes like the doc has allowed, but the sun is out and the roads are plowed, and I hate the TM

so I probably will.

Have a great day all, and be safe out there.

Woo hoo, first one in the pool this morning. So peaceful for about 5 minutes. I guess the weather kept a lot of people in bed late, didn't have to share a lane until my cool down. 2600m, which means I did 8100 yards this week. Most ever! As someone who still feels they struggle with swimming, I have to say it really is a lot like running. Lots of volume if you want to get better. Speaking of which, 6 mile run later.

Gung Hay Fat Choy! Happy Chinese New Year! I celebrated with a lovely sunshiney snowshoe on the trails around my house. Gotta enjoy the snow here in Vermont before we get hit with freezing rain tomorrow. As this is Vermont and I'm the only Asian around, sadly there won't be any feasting going on, but my waistline is thankful.

Broke Docs advice, Got out for a nice run, knee was feelin Excellent so I did 4 miles and went 38 minutes instead of docs recommended 20 minutes, Opps Me Bad, but I figured if I was going to get all my gear on to go outside in the cold and snow I might a well make it worthwhile. put a couple of  big walk breaks in there just to make sure it was holding up though.

went for a 8 mile run around noon,  got it in one hour exactly.  My farthest run ever,  was in the low 30's when i ran.  felt great to run outside in Cleveland in February.  What a weird winter this has been.

90 minutes on the trainer.  And so with that ends the third week of my 20 week HIM plan.  Everything is feeling pretty good at this point.  I am convinced my run is going to improve dramatically.  I've now lost 12 pounds and it has made a huge difference.

10 miles on the treadmill due to 45mph winds outside. It was... actually not bad at all!
