Rocky Point Tri?

I'm signed up for the Oly.  Love this race.  We love the resort and make a long weekend trip out of it.  If you rent a unit at Las Palomas you usually get a cheap twosome at the golf golf course.  We rented a three bedroom with 2 other couples and playing golf on the Monday after before we head home.  The new company putting on the race is the group that started Red Rock and this race.  They're called Human Movement MGMT in Boulder.  They posted a discount code on Facebook a couple weeks ago and the Oly was only $40.  I am little worried that its going to be small since Leadman/Marquee is only two weeks before.  Hoping they get a good turnout.  Cheap entry fee for a great race.  Spread the word!  www.rockypointtri.com

Yeah we're heading up Thursday night after work and staying through Sunday.  I'm signed up for the sprint distance with a buddy that is going to be riding on his beach cruiser.  He has a beach house there so it's a relatively low cost trip for us.  Plus I've never been to Mexico, and have my passport coming in the mail so pretty stoked to check it out. 

Sorry for the bad info, I wasn't aware it's put on by a new company.   Have fun down there, stop in our restaurant in Ajo on the way, and grab a bite and say hi.

Post race meal? I'm not sure about that...

GREAT picture....made me laugh!  Half my club is dancing and partying in that picture.  It is truly a fun race!!

After that picture I'm even MORE excited to go!  I've never gone to Mexico before and I'm staying at a friends' beach house, so it's looking like it'll be a great trip!

May end up going but not 100% yet.  Looks like fun but I'm not a big RP fan and I hate Mexicali jails.

5 days!  Got my passport in time lol can't wait to hit up this race!

Hope to meet some of you, if you stop in at our restaurant... it's the yellow building on the west side with a sign that says, "best burgers, best beer" - but we've got more items on the menu than that, a lot of healthier choices too.
