My husband gave me a Hallmark gift flower thingy, one of which I'd seen at the grocery store.

I kind of giggled when he gave it to me. He didn't care for that so much, so, my reaction was a bit of a fail. I felt bad about that.Embarassed

He also got me some tubes for my new bike, which was cool :=)

I cut watermelon out in heart shapes for my daughter's pre-school class.

Then I had to bring my mtn bike in for service- so I made some extras for the guys in the shop.

Apparently that was a first for them.

You gotta show your bike mechanic some love!

The wife and I had fondue together, so I suppose that counts as cheesy.

My wife and I don't do the valentines deal....if fact, we don't exchange gifts at any time.  But my son has his first girlfriend, a gal from his swim club.  He had me stop on the way to practice at the groxery store so he could "get her something for Valentines day"......he came out with a jar of Nutella.

I'm so proud of that boy. Laughing

Not to get this thread deleted, but my coach roommates keep talking about edible underwear as V-day present. Really?

I gave my wife a skateboard this year...  (We are in our mid 40's and have never been "Skaters")  It was an impulse buy, I'll give it a shot on the driveway when the snow melts...

Are these the same overweight coaches that prompted the other thread to expand exponentially?

Yeah, those athletes are becoming a problem.

Slacker... Didn't make the effort to cut the pineapple into hearts?  Where has true love gone?

Man, now I have to do something along those lines.  (send me the bottom one, BTW!).

My wife would eat that up.  Figuratively and literally.

Hmmm,  just what should it be?  Maybe a heart shaped loaf of bread?

I actually apologised to my husband for not cutting the pineapple and mushrooms into heart shapes. But it would have required time and I was already rushing to get these in the oven. Don't think I didn't want to though...

Thursday night was run night for us and we meet friends to run along the beach.  We both drive separate (coming from work). With the pace difference, my husband runs with my girlfirend's husband and my friend and I run together.  Well they got back to the pier before us and my husband did a little decorate the car.  I came back to pink and white helium balloons attached around my car and Be my Valentine posters taped to all the windows.   It provided a smile after a tough run.
