Good Morning BT

Well I did get up to go for a run today, It looked beautiful out sun shinning bright blue sky, then I went to put the dogs out, it about took my breath away -5 F , so I am going to make breakfast instead and wait a couple of hours to see if it will at least warms up to 0 or so before heading out for 5 miles, good thing I am not running long right now anyway's with that cold air the asthma would be going absolutely crazy. Maybe do a run, swim today.

Son Just came up from his hobbit hole and is taking me out for bacon & eggs bonus , maybe by the time we are done the temperature will a bit warmer.

Have a great day training all and be safe out there.

Much warmer here in Maine, but snowing and very low visibility! Glad I got in a decent run yesterday, not a good day to be running country roads with the horrible Maine drivers!

Looks like a good day to hit the trainer or maybe even a rest day?

Good morning! Long drive home after a great fast pitch tournament. My daughter's team finished 5th out of 17 teams in their first showing in the 14U age bracket-outstanding as many of our players are still 11 & 12.
Will get in a 12 mile run when I get home--it'll be a sufferfest--I hate running after sitting in a car for hours and I've been eating ballpark food all weekend!
Have a great day!

Good afternoon all

1 hour on the trainer for me this morning followed by a easy 35 mins in the pool. I have just finished reading the Swim Smooth book and I have already seen a 2 second decrease per 25 m average time! I am amazed and feel so much better in the pool already. Well worth the investment already!

Have a good day all

I got 4 mile run in then pulled the plug, that was a 10% increase for this week anyway. It never did warm up Here this aft much 2 degrees differance between 8 this morning and 1:30 this aft, first time this year I had to wear my balaclava, the cold air just sucked the life out of me for the first mile till I got going.

1:40 run out in the sun and then I was to ride my trainer for 50 minutes but I decided what the heck get my bike out on the road since it is 45 or so degrees out. Got my colder gear on and did mainly hot laps through my neigbhorhood. The roads still have lots of gravel from the winter on them. I can say that last year at this time I wasn't even thinking about getting outside on my bike.
