Mine is a shake that is 20g chocolate protien, 50g carbs, handfull of spinage, teaspoon of peanutbutter, little flax seed and 20oz of coconut water Roughly 400 calories. It taste so good and i always look forward to it. Just wonder what you guys take in after a nice hard workout?

Non-fat Chocolate Milk.  Type of chocolate based on what I have on the shelf (choc. syrup, Ovaltine, Chocolate Whey Protein, Nestle Quik ...)

If I do a 3 hour plus bike ride and I can feel my legs are toast then I'll go for the Chcolate Whey Protein powder with the milk.

Similar to mine:

1 banana, handful of spinach, chocolate milk, peanut butter, ground flax seeds, ice. Blend and enjoy. Has the idea 4:1 carbs:protein ratio and tastes outstanding.

I workout in the late afternoon/evening usually, so for me it's a few handfuls of nuts and a good craft beer.

I usually do water and a Luna bar. Sometimes I will make or buy a smoothie, though. I made a banana, peanut butter, spinach, vanilla protein powder, and almond milk one today.

Right away usually a big glass of water and one of those Naked brand smoothies, cause I am too lazy to make my own.

Also, I have started getting coconut water from the local Latin market. Its far cheaper there than any "health food" store.

However, I have to say mix of whey and cocoa powder (50g carbs + 25f protein) if next session within 3-4 hours.

Low fat chocolate milk because it tastes good and I can drink it right out of the bottle (meaning easy). When I get home I like to eat something like eggs with cheese and toast.

Oh man my favorite subject, food! 

Typically a vanilla protein shake with milk, orange juice, and berries, just so my body has something healthy to absorb immediately following a longer workout. 

Once I've showered and done some additional post-workout stretching, it could honestly be anything - maybe plain pizza, maybe pasta with spinach, or some kind of lean meat with vegetables.  Of course, there are like four amazing cheesesteak places right near me so I try to avoid those, but it's kinda hard!

2% milk, 20g of protein powder, banana, strawberries, flax seed and whatever else I can find in the fridge that's seasonal.

I'm not sure what "real food" is, a carb is a carb, and a gram of protein is a gram of protein.
