Subject: New Felt S22 or used S32

I am getting back into doing sprint triathlons then will schedule an olympic and half ironman.  I am debating wheter to get a used Felt S32 for $890 or a new Felt S22 for $1200.  Any and all advice is appreciated.

Same size?

Condition roughly the same? (Rather, was the S32 beat up by the previous owner?)

What year models?


Considering things are close, I'd rather save the $ and go with the S32. It'll get you the position you want, and you aren't upgrading anything important by going with the S22.

It is the same size 56.  The used S32 is 2 years old with no scratches and the S22 is brand new from 2012 at the bike shop (closeout).  It looks as if they are similar bikes and with the S22 I would have to pay 8% sales tax at the store with the S32 directly from someone.

So right at $400 for a few years and some minor difference?

 

I guess it's splitting hairs. I don't think you can go wrong with either.
