Master 1718    Loughborough, England | Subject: RE: indoor cycling trainer It really depends how much you want to spend but the trainers that use a fluid as the resistance (as opposed to air or magnatism) give the most rode like experiance. They are also considerably quieter which, depending on your living situatiion, may be important. I have the CycleOps Fluid II Trainer (costs about £125/$130) and thinks it's great. Like all fluid trainers it will automatically alter its resistance when you change gear on your bike and it gives a very smooth ride. You also get a free CTS Train Rite DVD with it. I spent about $225 or so on my CycleOps Fluid trainer and it was well worth it. Relatively quiet with road tires on your bike (I also have an MTB and it's noisier) and the variable resistance mimics being out on the roads as best as I can do w/o buying a fancy health club bike.
