Any one in for next weekends Jetton Tri sprint up at Lake Norman?  I won a free entry so I am there!  I haven't done a sprint in probably 3 years and have ridden outside maybe 6 times since IMFL (I am in heavy marathon training right now).  Should be fun (possibly painful)!

Sounds like a good number of BT'ers are racing? LOL!

Actually looks like a pretty good turnout with 270 already registered.

I'm in, first Tri of the season.

Did it last year, fun race, and very well organized!

Going to be some very large waves with only 5 swim waves scheduled.

It was a fun race, I felt water was a bit choppy, but overall perfect day for racing.

There were lots of people complaining about the chop, but after my last two races (REAL chop), I didn't think there was anything to complain about.  Well run and good fun.

Good race (results wise) for me but I didn't think the course was as fast as advertised.

Good to see Bruce_V out there as well.

Actually the swim is my strongest leg,

I need to get better at the bike, muuuuch better, and really start training on the bricks, usually I can a much faster 5k time.

But as mentioned before, it was a fun race.

Thanks, but I was pretty disappointed in my run. I could not get going at all and running wise, I am in the best shape I have ever been.  Was hoping to flirt with 20 flat but not really close.  I thought the run was going to flat but it was anything but.  Pace was actually slower than my past few Olympic runs, but that is probably attributed to overdoing the bike a little (was not in shape to ride that hard).
