Pre-race routine:

I felt this was the best part of the race(maybe because this is where I am most comfortable). The time felt like it went by fast.
What would you do differently?:

I may try and be faster. I thought this was my best part of the 3

Try to do some weight training to get stronger. I also need to get better at the mental aspect of triathlon and not quit when I know I am ok
Post race

Got all my gear and put on warm clothes

What limited your ability to perform faster:

weather and drive

Well done Mike, you'll learn heaps from this first Oly. Practice your open water swimming, don't worry about how far you swim just get in there at any opportunity and have fun. I just concentrate on making nice strokes and relaxing and before you know it the swims over.
