Subject: Lap swim counter suggestions
I went looking online for something simple like a board with flipping numbers or similar for keeping track of how many laps I've swam(swum?), but the cheapest ones I could find were all $30+. I've heard the tricks about eating gummy bears, penny piles, etc., but was hoping to find something that like the numbers. Anyone have suggestions for something like this that's under $30? $30 seems a little steep for some plastic numbers on rings.

I just bought one on eBay for $15.  it's from Sport Count and is a little counter that wraps around your finger.  It's great, it records your laps and in the end gives fastest lap, slowest lap, and average lap.

Hi!

Had the same problem so made a homemade contraption~

2 suction cups with a string end ties to each cup
On the string place anything that you can slide so you count your laps. I have little plastic turtles on mine. I put nine on a string this way I know when every 1/4 mile has passed. The suction cups are nice becasue I cansuction them to side of the pool.

Hope this helps!!
