So now I am glad I spent the money for my CycleOps Fluid 2 trainer. I very much like the unit, and now I like the company. I noticed the other day that the unit was leaking fluid. I called up customer service and was just a bit annoyed that I could not hold for a rep, I had to leave a message. They called back about an hour later, I told hm the issue and he says no problem, here's a return authorization number, send it back to us and we'll send you out a new one. I was in their system, but he never asks for a receipt copy, nothing, nada! Costs me $12.35 to ship it USPS. Today a brand new unit shows up via FedEx. A little slow on the return shipping, but what the heck, weather has been to good to ride inside anyway. Hope they stay in business, lifetime warranty could be a good deal!

X2 - excellent customer service. My original PT went out of whack during warranty and they got it recalibrated by the Cdn distributor, even though the warranty was technically up. They then gave me an additional year warranty on the fixed unit. Well, it went again right at the year mark. It was a wired model and they no longer support the wired model so they couldn't replace the guts. Instead, they had me send mine back to the US with my wheel and then built in a new wireless PRO model, and sent it back. It cost me the shipping across the border.

The stand behind the product, and when things go wrong, they make sure the customer is taken care of.

+10^6 on their customer service (my nerd quote for the day).

I bought a used wired PT from them (at least 10-12 years old) last year, and couldn't get the head unit to download. They thought it might be the cradle, so they sent me a new one free of charge.
It didn't end up being the cradle, it was a problem with the head unit (that particular model was so old it actually didnt have the function to upload data), and I had to get a new one.
But just the fact that they were willing to try to help me with an old, outdated product that I bought second hand says a lot about the character of a company.

My fluid2 was leaking also, it's probably 11 years old and I didn't have original receipt, but they replaced without question. Customer service was excellent.

I was given an older model hand-me down from a friend. This thing had to be 10 years old or more. It started leaking within 3 months. I called and was up front about the fact that I didn't purchase the unit and that it had been handed to me for free. They don't make that model anymore, so they couldn't replace the part. Instead they offered me a new Fluid2 and a HUGE discount. I'll be a customer for life.

Add me to the list of those experiencing exceptional customer service. One of the rare companies where I have heard few (if any?) negative experiences. I'm sure there are a few out there, but I would never hesitate to recommend the company's products based on the combination of solid quality and the way they stand behind them when the quality comes up short in some fashion.
