I've been watching for that! The Boulder 70.3 is always that first weekend in August. At the BolderBoulder I talked to the RD and he said to watch for an announcement in the next few weeks. It'll be interesting to see how they handle two of them.

I want to do the 70.3 in 2014 so I'm interested in the logistics of the two races.

And to round out the circle of reporting, Triathlete.com is reporting it, too.

Planning on CdA for 2014, but would be really interested in this one.

That would likely be a nice swim and a fast bike course. But a brutal run for faster competitors, potentially quite nice for later finishers. The opposite of how it is for the 70.3, where the slower finishers take the brunt of the run punishment. Afternoon running there is likely to be very hot and unshaded, with the effects of altitude to boot. Then the temps tend to fall sharply in the evening.

Great destination for an IM, though.

That will sell out SO fast.  I suspect this is one where you'd need to be there volunteering to sign up for the next year.

IF I get my wish and I'm living there next summer I am SO in for 2015....SO in....

I’m only slightly thick in the head, but there is a gremlin-ish energy in the air as I prepare for my run. It occurs to me that this is not gonna be a comfortable 8 miles. This is gonna hurt.

Metatarsalgia simply means “painful metatarsal” without defining the cause of the pain. Metatarsalgia most commonly causes pain at the second metatarsal head.
