Tubulars offers very little benefits anymore... it used to be that a tubular had much lower rolling resistance, they handled significantly better and the general road feel was just superior. The two areas where tubulars are slightly (but this is slightly now mind you ) better is road feel and puncture safety; if you flat with a tubular you can still roll to a safe stop, with a clincher, you will need to come to a stop immediately.
Clinchers have really caught up to such a degree that the small benefits of tubulars no longer outweighs the work that's involved with them.
