Subject: Going to Tri (pun intended) Hey all...
I'm a guy who use to do two of the events in tri (swimming and cycling ) as a teen then all of a sudden adulthood happened...
Little did I know I would lose my core self to pizza, pop and potato chips (the three P's of eating badly ) and wind up a person who always would start a conversation about physical activity with the phrase "I use to...".
Now I've done a little soul searching and I plan on doing my first Tri next Spring... using this summer and winter to train for it. I'm not doing it because I want to lose weight (although I'm very heavy ). I'm doing it because the goal of successfully doing a Tri is far more motivation. My goals.. Compete in my first Tri next spring. Compete in Kona Iron Man in 3 years. Kona's a lofty goal. But I feel motivated |
