Subject: Garmin 910xt multisport won't add a segment
I used my garmin multisport for a run-swim a month ago and had no problems redoing the recorded segments to SWIM-RUN.

Then yesterday, I was unable to switch it back to SWIM-RUN-BIKE. It let me insert/edit legs on the multisport page, but the moment I hit 'enter/start' or changed pages, it promptly forgets what I programmed and goes back to SWIM-RUN. Even restarting the watch didn't work - it seems locked onto SWIM-RUN.

I suspect there's a setting I changed that makes it do this. Any ways to get it to stop forgetting what I programmed?

When you finish the set up it says "Press Enter to Start Multisport", but don't press "Start." Press "ENTER."

This is confusing, but if you don't press "ENTER" it won't save your program.

Then when you're ready to start the workout, press "Start".

Actually, for some bizarro reason, hitting "ENTER" started multisport, but it defaults immediately back to the old two-segment setup I did for that race a month ago, even after I hit "START" to start the multisport. I did it like 5 times before race start, and all I got was a bunch of blank 2-segment splits; it kept ignoring my entered 3-sport plan.

I may have to find some way to do a reset of the watch.
