That would be a nice gift to wake up to.  OK, how about I just keep $1M and you guys can have the rest back.  ;-)

This reminds me of something that happened to one of my guys several years ago.  I worked for a large nationwide company and one of the engineers who worked for me got his annual 3% pay raise from $100k to $103k.  I submitted all the paperwork to HR and they put it in.  The Monday before payday I went into the system to verify everyone's pay raises went in properly and I noticed his salary was listed as $1,030,000.  I called down to HR and they said oh crap, we added an extra zero and we'll fix that.  However, payroll has already been ran and we can't stop his next paycheck from going.  lol

He ended up having twenty some thousand dollars deposited into his account.  They of course reversed it a few days later, and we all thought it was funny.  He was bragging about being the highest paid gun in the company.
The crappy part is it really screwed up his taxes, because his next paycheck didn't withhold anything for Social Security and his 401k contribution was maxed.  It turned into quite a mess for a good month or two before everything was straightened out.

Dang, he should have immediately purchased a small country and a big army and Navy to retain it.  A trillion will get you a lot of cool stuff and it would have been one heck of a show watching the fight to get it back.

This happened to me in college. My bank account was a 10-digit number that started with "6". The teller must have inputted my account number in the deposit field. My balance till the next day was something like 6,000,000,150. Still never figured out how they "closed the books" that day with that big of an error?

This reminds me of this story:
http://abcnews.go.com/Business/atm-error-lets-detroit-man-gamble-15m/story?id=16595361

My beloved employer, because of a coding error in our consumer bank (not my line of business), allowed some fortunate gentleman to make unlimited ATM withdrawals.

Of course this happens to a guy with a gambling problem.

My expectations for the quality of this years’ Triathlon world championship were fulfilled. This was because of the superb location that is like no other along with having the top triathletes present.

Don’t forget this is an incredibly big year for sport with the Olympics back in Athens where the modern Olympics started, and especially triathlon to make its second appearance.
