Subject: Hello from Utah
I've been interested in triathlons for a long time and decided to take the leap. I'm a total fitness newbie, so there's a lot for me to learn. I haven't done any races yet, but I'm excited to get a few under my belt. Also since I'm so new to most aspects of health, pretty much anything you say to me is going to be informative is some manner, ha.

I love biking and swimming, but I've never taken either seriously or approached them in a disciplined way. I was a runner in high school, and it would be amazing to get back to those speeds (or even close).

Anyway, just looking to make some positive changes and get involved in triathlons and the community. Look forward to meeting you all along the way.

Don't worry about it all. You will do well. Just ask and people will answer.

I like the avatar by the way.

I lift my head to sight, thinking I must be pretty close to the first buoy already. My heart sank, I looked back and saw that I had only gone approximately 50 yards. This as going to be tough.
