Subject: Saddle question

I have a saddle that I love which came on my first road bike. It is a specialized lithia gel 155. I bought a new to me used road bike and need a different saddle for it but it looks like Specialized has discontinued the model seat I like. I'm wondering if I find another Specialized saddle with a cut-out and the same width of 155 is there a good shot it will fit the same? There are tons of other Specialized seats on Ebay, just not the one I want .

I'm being lazy and don't want to go to the bike shop (1.5 drive) and test out a bunch of new saddles.

Probably. But if you love this particular model, why not get one off eBay?!

It may be tough to find that particular model. Specialized has a habit of discontinuing models, but they generally keep the shapes. Meaning, while they don't make the LIthia in 155mm anymore, there's a good chance they just call it a different name. I would scour their website and see if any of the other 155mm saddles look close, or call a Specialized dealer and ask if they know what, if anything, the LIthia became.

Good luck

Yes I thought so too but they only have the Avatar in 130 mm and my Lithia is 155mm. I bought a spare Lithia when I got my tri bike but I didn't realize they came in different sizes - it is also the 130 mm. I tried that seat today and lets just say it does not work .... AT ALL!

I picked a different one that comes in the same size so hopefully it will work!

Email specialized. They should be able.to give you a few options or even have some leftovers. Worth the 5 min email. Did that for another item and they pointed me to an equivalent

I cannot get comfortable without the nose of the saddle being tilted down. I have tried many different seats and had two professional fittings, but still have excessive numbness and discomfort.

Finding the right bicycle saddle is often a confusing process of trial and error for cyclists. However, a little education goes a long way, and will perhaps save you some pain and discomfort as well.

The ISM Adamo Racing Saddle is difficult to define. It doesn’t look like a bicycle saddle. It doesn’t mount like a bicycle saddle. And yet, it does feel like a bicycle saddle.
