New user 7 Lancaster, PA |  Subject: PA Newbie Impressed With SiteI've been on the site for a few weeks now and thought I'd post just to say hello and how impressed I am with the site... I've had half a dozen questions since I started working out, but I'm consistently finding answers in the articles and previous forum posts - there's really a wealth of information here. I'm also a Type I diabetic and this is the first I've gotten serious about exercise since going on an insulin pump. I ran long distance in high school and college but was on insulin shots then. I'm finding the pump to be a bit more difficult to figure out with exercise - any advice welcome. Otherwise, I'm happy to be sticking to my program after a month and looking forward to learning more. |

Almost everyone in my family has issues with diabetes. So far I've been lucky, but I check my sugar on a regular basis. I know of a couple of active members here that will be able to give you some sound advice. Great work on finding answers to your questions, don't hesitate to ask if there is something you cant find.
