I have been riding a lot of different bikes over the past weeks. I have got it narrowed down to 3 brands/bikes. The only brand that I didn't get to ride is Litespeed.

These are in the order of how I like them.

1a. Speciallized Tarmac Comp or the Robauix Comp
This bike rides like a dream. I am a little scared about having an all carbon bike though. It is 105 components with no Ultegra.

1b. Trek 2200
Rides great. Seems to be a great bike for both group training and racing. The aluminum/carbon combo has a great feel to it.

3. Cervelo Soloist
This is a race bike. It is versatile (can be used as both a TT and road bike) and climbed great. The aluminum frame even with the carbon fork and seat post seemed to ride a little harsh.

Anyone have any thoughts on the three.

Pick an answer:

1. Go ride a Litespeed.

2. Why do you have a 1a, a 1b, then a 3? The third should be 1c or 2.

3. Just buy one already. I didn't spend this much time/effort buying a house.

4. Yes, you may go to the bathroom.

Cool

Of the 3, I'd go with the Soloist. Plus it's RED.

Cool

At least BEAR let you go to the bathroom.  Be thankful about that.

Now, BUCK UP and make a decision.

THEN post pictures of the new ride.

Isn't that SIMPLE??

..........................'Oh, I forgot your were still there.  You may go now.'

LITESPEED

edit: only if it is a ti version. If not, carbon or carbon alu. I ride a Javelin Barola and a Litespeed siena and will NEVER go back to just alu.

In order of selection criteria:

1) The one that fits best

B) The one that makes you smile most when you ride it

Tommy

FWIW, that's my soloist to the left here, in full tri set up (don't even own drops for it). It's the one that fit best with my long legs and short torso. Most other cockpits (including the rest of cervelo's line) left me either to stretched out or with two feet of seat post sticking out and a stack of spacers under the bar.

Of the three choices ...... the Tarmac would be my selection (if you can get over the funky curved top tube design).

It blows the other choices away for frames. I was planning on buying a Tarmac but they had just run out of stock of 58's (the dude who works in my old shop got the last one ....... doh!!) so I ended up getting my TCR.

Have you looked at the TCR carbon's yet? I know for a fact that you can get the TCR Limited which is basically an Ultegra bike with a carbon frame for less than 2 grand ..... same frame as my TCR C-Zero in fact.

I don't understand the question.  If it fits well, go with the one you like the most.
