St. Paul Tri?

My wife Kelly and I are both planning on doing St.Paul. Kelly is doing the longer course and I am doing the shorter course. I think it is being run by the same guy who ran the Freedom tri this year, which was also a first year triathlon. I thought it was well run course that had a good turn-out.

I'm thinking I'll register... So, that means I'll be making my tri debut 4 weeks earlier than planned! I think I can, I think I can.

its run on the same course as tri america last year. randy fulton, who is the RD, is a great guy and always puts on nice events. kelly and i talked about doing it as a team, but we still need a runner.

if its the same as tri-america (as autumn points out) its a easy difficulty race..  the run is around the lake and the bike is west towards 35w..    I enjoyed it last year (the triamerica one...) 

So anybody else planning on doing the St. Paul tri? Looks like they have around 200 or so signed up as of now.

What a great day for a tri. Hope anybody else who did this had a good race. Kelly and I both did it and had a blast. I could have podiumed if I had signed up as a Clydesdale but I decided not to. Of course most others decided not to also since only 2 other Clydes were signed up. Anyway, great race with P.R.'s for me in both the swim and the run. I would do this one agian for sure.

I had a great day, too -- it was my first tri, and I couldn't be more thrilled. Loved every second!
